Krowor Municipality, Greater Accra — As final-year students across Ghana prepare for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), Korklu’s Foundation has extended an important gesture of support to students of St. Michael’s School within the Krowor Municipality.

Ahead of the examinations, Hon. Dorcas Naa Korklu Afotey, Founder of Korklu’s Foundation, presented pens and mathematical sets to the final-year students to assist them in their preparation for the all-important examination.

The presentation forms part of the Foundation’s commitment to supporting education and creating opportunities for young people to achieve their full potential.

Encouraging Students to Stay Focused

During the presentation, Hon. Dorcas Naa Korklu Afotey encouraged the students to remain focused, disciplined and committed to their studies as they approached the BECE.

She reminded them that their success would depend not only on their academic preparation but also on their determination, confidence and ability to remain calm throughout the examination period.

She further encouraged the students to believe in themselves and assured them that, with hard work and dedication, they could achieve excellent results.

Supporting Education and the Next Generation

For Korklu’s Foundation, the gesture goes beyond the provision of examination materials. It represents a commitment to ensuring that students have the basic tools and encouragement they need to approach their examinations with confidence.

A pen and mathematical set may appear simple, but for a student preparing for a major examination, having the necessary materials can make a meaningful difference.

The Foundation believes that education remains one of the most powerful tools for transforming individuals, families and communities. Supporting students today is therefore an investment in the future of the Krowor Municipality and Ghana as a whole.

Inspiring Young People to Succeed

The initiative also reflects Korklu’s Foundation’s broader vision of inspiring and empowering young people through practical interventions and educational support.

As the students of St. Michael’s School prepare to write their BECE, the Foundation wishes them success, confidence and excellence in all their papers.

The organization remains committed to working with schools and communities to promote educational development and create opportunities for the next generation.
