Nungua, Greater Accra — Monday, 13th July 2026: Korklu’s Foundation has commissioned a rehabilitated borehole facility at the Nungua Police Station, reaffirming its commitment to supporting institutions that serve and protect communities.

The project forms part of the Foundation’s community development and social-impact initiatives, aimed at improving access to essential resources and creating better working conditions for public institutions.

The rehabilitated borehole is dedicated in honour of ACP Mr. Odonkor-Baah, Kpeshie Divisional Police Commander, in recognition of his selfless service, dedication and commitment to the people within the community.

Supporting Those Who Protect Us

Access to reliable water is essential for the effective functioning of any institution. For a police station, where officers work around the clock to maintain law and order and respond to the needs of the public, dependable access to water is particularly important.

The rehabilitation of the facility therefore represents more than the restoration of a water source. It is a practical demonstration of appreciation and solidarity with the men and women who dedicate themselves to protecting the community.

The project carries a powerful message:

“Those who protect us deserve to be protected too.”

Through this initiative, Korklu’s Foundation seeks to encourage a culture where communities and organizations recognize and support the institutions and individuals working tirelessly for the public good.

Honouring Service and Community Leadership

The decision to dedicate the project to ACP Mr. Odonkor-Baah highlights the Foundation’s belief in recognizing individuals whose service contributes to the wellbeing and security of society.

Such recognition serves not only as an appreciation of past and present service but also as an encouragement for others to continue contributing positively to their communities.

A Commitment to Community Impact

The commissioning of the rehabilitated borehole is another example of Korklu’s Foundation’s approach to community development—identifying practical needs, mobilizing support and implementing initiatives that can produce tangible benefits.

The Foundation remains committed to working with institutions, community leaders, development partners and other stakeholders to identify sustainable solutions to challenges facing communities.

As Korklu’s Foundation continues its journey, the organization remains guided by its core commitment:

Inspire. Empower. Transform.

The Foundation extends its appreciation to everyone who contributed to the successful rehabilitation and commissioning of the borehole facility and congratulates the Nungua Police Station and the Kpeshie Divisional Police Command on this important community-support initiative.
