Korklu’s Foundation and CBG Bank Partner to Advance Financial Inclusion for Persons Living with Disabilities

Accra, Ghana — Korklu’s Foundation has taken another significant step towards promoting financial inclusion, economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods for persons living with disabilities through a strategic partnership with CBG Bank.

The partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking an important milestone in the Foundation’s commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for individuals and communities that are often underserved.

At Korklu’s Foundation, we believe that empowerment begins with opportunity. Through this initiative, 200 beneficiaries have been equipped with essential financial literacy skills designed to help them make informed financial decisions, manage their resources effectively and build stronger foundations for their economic independence.

As part of the programme, beneficiaries were also provided with bank accounts and seed funds to support them in starting or strengthening income-generating activities. The initiative is intended not only to provide immediate financial assistance but also to encourage long-term financial independence, self-reliance and sustainable economic growth.
