Korklu’s Foundation respects your privacy. This Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

We collect the information you choose to provide through our website. This can include your name, email address, phone number, message and subject when you contact us; your name, email address and interests when you apply to volunteer; and your name, email address, phone number, donation amount and payment reference when you make a donation. We also receive the technical information needed to operate the website, such as dashboard session and preference cookies.

We use your information to respond to enquiries, review volunteer or partnership requests, administer and acknowledge donations, maintain a secure internal dashboard, improve our services, and meet legal or record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not collect or store your complete payment-card or mobile-money credentials on this website. Paystack processes payment information under its own privacy policy. We retain the donation details and transaction reference needed to administer the donation and respond to enquiries.

Website and dashboard communications may be sent through Brevo. Messages received at the Foundation's official email address may be accessible to authorised staff through the connected organisation inbox, including Gmail where that inbox connection is enabled. Please do not send sensitive information by ordinary email unless you are comfortable doing so.

We use service providers to operate the website and deliver requested services. These include Vercel for hosting, Supabase for application data, Paystack for payment processing, Brevo for email delivery, Google for the authorised internal Gmail inbox connection and Google Maps for directions. We share only the information needed for each service to operate.

The public website does not use advertising cookies. Essential cookies may be used to keep authorised dashboard access secure and remember dashboard display preferences. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including responding to you, administering donations and meeting legal obligations. You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable legal requirements. You may also ask us to stop non-essential communications.

Our website is not directed to children collecting information independently. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us. We may update this Policy as our practices or legal obligations change; the current version will always be posted on this page.
