Dorcas Naa Korklu Afotey is an accomplished Human Resources professional and business leader with extensive experience across key areas of Human Resource Management, including performance management, talent management, industrial relations, change management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and general administration.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration, with an option in Human Resources, from Central University College, and a Master of Science in International Business from the University of Ghana. Her professional career has been distinguished by strong leadership, strategic human resource management, employee development and organisational transformation.

Dorcas is a Board Member of the National Population Council, serving under the Presidency, and the Founder of Korklu’s Foundation, through which she contributes to community development and social initiatives.
An active member of the National Democratic Congress, she was a Parliamentary Aspirant for the Krowor Constituency during the 2023 NDC parliamentary primaries, where she placed second among five aspirants.
She has also served on the NDC National Gender, Children and Social Protection Committee, contributing to campaigns and organising media and community engagements across the regions. Through this work, she has supported initiatives that strengthen community engagement, social advocacy and the visibility of issues affecting women, children and vulnerable groups.
